Where Dreams Do Come True
#nofilter - It's winking at ya. Nothing but natural pure unfiltered Western North Carolina sunlight as it pierces the ridge line of Sheep Mountain. Pic taken atop Cedar Mountain/Dupont State Forest just seven miles south of Oskar Blues REEB Ranch.
Good Morning Dreamliners! - The Oskar Blues REEB Ranch backs up against the Dupont State Forest with about 90 miles of Cross Country goodness. This just happens to be this photographer's local stomping ground and I've got nothing but love for Dupont. If you haven't come, plan a trip. Not to mention, within a 30 minute drive there's options…. Pisgah NF, Bent Creek, just to name a couple. Each trail system is well worth it. Pic also taken atop Cedar Mountain.
The Yellow Submarine - The Oskar Blues REEB Ranch is somewhat remote and couldn't handle the volume of traffic expected for the event, three thousand tickets could equal a lot cars and one heck of a mess for the back roads of Brevard. So event partner/sponsor Oskar Blues Brewery arranged to have all spectators shuttled the eight miles / fourteen minutes from the Brewery in downtown Brevard to the venue at the Ranch.
Lemme Off! - 10:30 meant first bus. Who's ready for the PAR-TAY!
Pearly White Gates - This is what they are supposed to look like. Welcome to heaven folks!
It's Namesake - Dreamline, the implication is just that a "Dream…..... Line," the lines one only dreams of becoming reality courtesy of Adam Aloise and his build crew.
They've Got All the Cool Toys - GoPro was on hand with their matte blacked out Transporter displaying the Hero 4 and all the new goodies for their latest and greatest camera. But that's not what caught our eye, this little two wheeled gem did. Probably was wishful thinking that we'd see a demo of this whip. Not sure the locals or the PoPo would appreciate it as much as we would.
Separated at Birth - Could this be a shot of the skin belonging to Ben Grimm (aka The Thing) for your Marvel Comics fans or a shot of the sun bleached Red Bull Dreamline course clay? Things that make you go.... Hmmmmmm.
Getting 'Er Ready - The Crew must have had one heck of a check list to get things ready. Course prep, Camera (TV) prep, Cable Cam prep, Quad Copter prep, and so on, and so on, and so on.
"Your favorite riders favorite rider to watch" - .... says KC Badger. Matty Aquizap testing out the first set in the "Dirty South" section while building the Dreamline course. Photo: Tim Koerber
Nitro Circus - Jaie Toohey with a back flip tailwhip in the middle "Dirty South" set. Toohey was throwing down ridiculous tricks all week long. Unfortunately his massive front flip tail whips over the final set never quite came together in finals and he would finish the day in 12th. Photo: Tim Koerber

Tuck-No-Handed 360 - Dennis Enarson with a massive tuck-no-handed 360. Photo: Tim Koerber
Partners in Crime - Sure credit is due to Red Bull for making this all happen, but let's not forget about Oskar Blues/REEB Ranch and the Bike Farm. This sure wouldn't have happened without their efforts. I am sure the spectators are thankful for a good beverage on their Saturday as well.

Mother Hucker - Mike "Hucker" Clark finishing up qualifiers with a massive 3. Photo: Tim Koerber
2X - Zach Yearly leads Matty Aquizap into the Dirty South set. These two were boosting higher than everyone else all weekend long. After narrowly missing out on finals they spent Saturday in the judges tower. Photo: Tim Koerber
It's a Bird, It's a Plane, no it's..... - Superman seat-grab at the end of Fridays qualifier rounds as the rain was moving in. Photo: Tim Koerber
The Shadow of Superman - All I could catch of Superman was this shadow. The only thing to keep him grounded was the Kryptonite, but it was no where to be found.
Ryan's in for a Ride - Vet Ryan Nyquist bails mid air. He walked away without issue....... Note to self, when these guys teach a "How to Crash Course", TAKE IT! Forwhatever reason I can't seem to be as graceful.

The Kiwi - A couple (the two images above) of Paul Langlands, as he was fun to watch all weekend.

Into the Stratosphere - Boost and Table = Stratosphere
Hucker with a T - Mike Hucker Clark needs another -ucker in his name, Tucker. (No, I did not rotate this image.)
Momma Nature Just Couldn't Stay Away - ....... and then the rain came. Good thing is was just a sprinkle in the grand scheme of things. Thank god it was nothing like the most recent Red Bull event, Rampage and the rivers those boys experienced out west.
For Drizzle - Just a short walk back to the car to re-fuel our gasser with some sugar.
You Need a Time Out - Time to take shelter the Registration/Media barn, check social media…..Rob checking his phone, and chug down a Red Bull or two….. Nicole digging in the cooler for some wings. Haha, bad joke.
INCOMING!- The rain only lasted about thirty to forty minutes and it wasn't long before the sun was back out. As soon as it showed it's face the crew was on the course doing what they could to minimize the risk of greasiness.
Survey Says? - Come on Judges! Get your arses back up there, so we can get this kicked off again! The crowd is hungry!
Who's First? - Victor Salazar sitting at the top of the course waiting for the A-OK to check course conditions.
The Huck - Mike Hucker Clark doing what he does best.
Some Serious Sun Berm - With almost a two hour delay, the competition was pushed later into the afternoon and that afternoon sun was starting to cast some great light and resulting shadows on the course.
360 No Hander - Chris Doyle laying down a beaut of a 360 No Hander.
The Crowd Stuck, So You Better - Most of the crowd stuck around through the rain and the delay…… riders had better return the favor and stick those landings.
